A Lifelong Commitment to San Leandro

Pete’s your neighbor.  A lifelong resident, growing up in Floresta Gardens, involved in scouts, church, sports, civic organizations and family, Pete completed his education and joined the San Leandro Police Department, still where his priority was working with kids.  In addition to the job he coached and mentored on his own time, activities he still continues after retirement  As a father he understands the need for a safe and healthy community, for the welfare of his family and yours. Pete also continues his public service on City boards and commissions. Pete is running for City Council to insure that your family members have the same great opportunities and enjoyment of the city that he had.

A Commitment to Public Safety

San Leandro takes pride in its police department and fire services.  As a public safety expert, Pete knows how important it is to continue to support Police Officers and Firefighters while they provide essential public safety services, and he remains resolutely committed to providing them the resources they need to meet new challenges and keep doing the job right to insure our safety.  Pete has the experience to know that public safety is a partnership with the community, and that community policing requires both him and the department be open and available to discuss community needs.
