- Establish a process to look beyond the test scores and define the inequities in each school through student, parent and teacher engagement making specific improvements a district goal.
- Examine board policies and procedures for adherence and improvements; focusing on community relations, business and noninstructional operations, and board bylaws.
- Work with education stakeholders, locally and statewide, to force Sacramento to prioritize education and improve funding to meet the needs of the 21st century student.
