STATE ASSEMBLY 75th District

MARIE WALDRON

Businessowner/Assemblymember

I Support: Job Creation by cutting taxes and burdensome regulations on working families and businesses; Reliable and Affordable Water supply for our economy, families and farms; Strong Education for success and job training

Proven Taxfighter: Californians are over taxed: the highest in the nation! We must cut gas taxes and create efficient and affordable energy to become more competitive as a state

I Mean Business and Jobs. A small businessowner for 22 years, I understand the impact of unfair government regulations, taxes and fees. That is why I have a “A” Rating by the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association. Business growth means success, jobs and employment.

Education dollars should be spent in the classroom to help teachers do their job and students succeed – not on bureaucrats. School choice and competition benefit our students.

Proven Record: As a city councilmember in Escondido for 14 years, I supported a balanced budget, water affordability and protecting individual liberties. Water storage, desalinization and water reclamation are critical for our prosperity as a region. I’ve continued fighting for you as your State Assemblymember.

As a parent, I’m concerned about our childrens’ future. I stand to protect our traditional family values and our veterans for benefits, housing and healthcare.

Active over 25 years in our community and church, I support many local civic organizations, including the Boy Scouts, Little League and YMCA. My husband and I work to create the successful “Cruisin’ Grand” hotrod event in downtown Escondido for the past 17 years.
